Bebop Control US - for Parrot's Bebop Drone 1.3

The new remote control application for Parrot's Bebop drone introduces a range of functionalities aimed at enhancing the user experience. To establish a connection, users need to power on the Bebop drone, connect to its Wi-Fi network, and launch the app.

This application is now compatible with Bebop 1, Bebop 2, and the Sky Controller.

• Setting Profiles: The app includes four predefined settings profiles tailored for indoor use, outdoor flying, video recording, and acrobatics. Users also have the ability to create additional profiles and share them with peers or across their devices via AirDrop and email.
• Flight Timer: A built-in timer displays the exact duration of each flight session
• Drag to Flip Button: This intuitive feature allows users to perform flips by dragging the button in their desired direction. For instance, dragging towards oneself executes a backflip, while dragging left results in a left flip. Once familiarized, users can perform flips without needing to glance at the display.
• Flight Log: Users can access comprehensive flight data, including charts and statistics. The app enables plotting of flight paths on a map, exporting data for video editing purposes, and sharing flights with other Bebop Control users via AirDrop and email.
• Quick Tilt Button: This feature allows cycling through predefined camera positions effortlessly.
• Crosshair Customization: Users can select from various crosshair designs and scales for enhanced targeting precision.
• Wi-Fi Signal Strength Indicator: The app provides real-time feedback on signal strength, along with customizable Wi-Fi warnings.
• Last Known Position Tool: In the event of an emergency landing or crash, this tool assists users in locating their Bebop drone.
• MFi Gamepad Support: The application supports control via MFi gamepads equipped with additional joysticks, such as the Stratus Steel or Moga Ace Power. Users can assign buttons to various functions within the settings.
• Offline Mode: Users can explore the application’s features even without being connected to their drone.
• Configurable User Interface: The interface allows users to customize button visibility according to their preferences, including hiding the emergency button if desired.
• Unit Support: The app accommodates both imperial and metric units, providing flexibility with feet, meters, feet per second, and meters per second options.
• Control Mode Options: Users can select from different control modes, including RC Mode 1 through Mode 4.
• User Data Privacy: All data is stored locally on the user’s device; no personal data is collected or transmitted by the app.
